Daenikera corallina is a species of parasitic in the Santalaceae family. It is endemic to New Caledonia and it is distributed mainly in the Grand Massif Sud with an extension to Mt Aréha et Mt. Paéoua in the north west. This shrub grows in dense humid forest on ultramafic substrate up to 1,300 m asl. It is known to parasitize some species of Myodocapus or Amphorogyne genus at the base of their trunk. One of the species is Amphorogyne spicata. The main threats identified are the ongoing mining activity and future mining operation at Paéoua and bushfires that reduce the area of distribution and the habitat quality. Its extent of occurrence (EOO) is equal to 3,345 km² and area of occupation (AOO) 108 km² with a number of location between 10-20. Therefore D. corallina is considered as Near Threatenend (NT) close to VU B1ab (ii,iii,v)+B2ab(ii,iii,v).
