Polyscias crenata is an endemic tree/small tree of New Caledonia discontinuously spread in Grande Terre from Nouméa to Koumac. It occurs in forest (dry and humid) on non-ultramafic substrate at an altitudinal range 20 - 470 m asl. This species does not seem directly threatened. Polyscias crenata is considered Least Concern (LC).

This species is common, with good natural regeneration (pioneer species).

This species does not seem directly threatened.

Conservation


Polyscias crenata is protected by local legislation in province Sud but not in province Nord. It occurs in one protected area: Ouen Toro
