Cyclophyllum pancheri is an endemic shrub of New Caledonia, known from Belep to Sommet Arago. The herbarium type specimen also locate the species in Ile des pins. It would occurs in forest on ultramafic substrate at an altitudinal range of 200-950 m asl. This taxon is insufficiently collected and not well known. Cyclophyllum pancheri is therefore assessed as Data Deficient (DD) for taxonomic reasons.

Geographical area

Population size is unknown.

Habitat

Threats


This species does not seem globally threatened.

Conservation


Cyclophyllum pancheri occurs in two protected areas : Mont Panié, Aoupinié. It should be taxonomically clarified in order to be able to assess the extinction risks of this species.
