Pileus: convex; 40 - 50 mm diameter; very viscid;greyish brown, overlain with a whitish viscid bloom; margin entire, retracted.

Stipe: cylindrical, tapering towards the base; 25 - 40 × 4 - 5 mm; slightly viscid, fibrillose; brown, pale at apex, darker below.

Pores: adnexed; pale cream; rounded..

Flesh: white, unchanging on exposure to air.
