Bavayia endemia : a gecko with the name of Endemia !

This gecko, which is widespread on the east coast from Poindimié to Mount Panié, was named after Endemia.

Researchers Aaron Bauer and Todd Jackman of Villanova University in the USA, and Ross Sadlier of the Australian Museum Research Institute wished to thank Endemia for its role in facilitating the local IUCN Red List authority.
