Distribution

It is known from the northwestern reefs of New Caledonia and from Atoll Surprise.

Etymologie

It  is named to honor Jerry Harasewych from the National Museum of Natural History, Smithsonian Institution, for his contributions the knowledge of columbariform molluscs.
