"Holotype male  Mt Panie summit.  Rainforest, 1600m .Sieved litter. L 3.5mm, w 4,1mm

This species’ distribution is restricted to Mt. Panié . Collecting localities are in the higher reaches of the mountain, 1300–1629 m elevation, with recorded microhabitats or collecting situations including rainforest and sieved litter. As such it appears beetles of this species occupy the ground-level litter layer."
