The holotype captured and described by R-P Xavier MONTROUZIER, from Art Island, in Bélep, is the only known male specimen! With a single female, from the same provenance and from the same collector.

19-22mm. Body in elongated oval, enlarged back, shiny black, without pilosity. The anterior shins of the female are one wider than those of the male.
