"Length: 3.2 to 4.2 mm. Shiny black-brown, cheeks and sometimes pronotum slightly thinned. Practically hairless. Dark reddish-brown legs.

Found at the top of "Aoupigné, at the I.A.C. station of Pocquereux, at Tiaka beach, but reported in the Philippines, Indonesia, New Guinea, Australia. New species for New Caledonia."
