Bulbophyllum baladeanum is an endemic epiphyte orchid wide distributed on Grande Terre (main island). B. baladeanum is found in dense humid forest, on forest edges, in riparian forest and in transition zone between shrubland and forest on schist and ultramafic substrate. Altitudinal range of B. baladeanum range from 50 to 1400 m. asl. With an area of occupancy and an extent of occurrence equal to 328 and 9218 km², B. baladeanum qualifies as Least Concern.
