in Northern ProvinceHedycarya aragoensis is an endemic small tree restricted to the northern part of Grande Terre in New Caledonia (from Arago to Mont Panié). It is found in dense humid forest on volcano-sedimentary substrate at an altitudinal range 200-1,600 m asl.
