Psychotria deverdiana is an endemic shrub of New Caledonia. It would occurs in forest or degraded former forest on volcano-sedimentary substrate at an altitudinal range 0-250 m asl. This taxon seems to be a synonym of P. micromyrtus and is not evaluated (NE).
