Psychotria micromyrtus is an endemic shrub, widespread from Ile art (Belep) in the north to Ile des pins in the south of New Caledonia. It occurs in dense humid forest, shrubland or sclerophyll forest on volcano-sedimentary and ultramafic substrate at an altitudinal range 0-800 m asl. This species does not seem globally threatened. Psychotria micromyrtus is considered Least Concern (LC).

Habitat

Threats


This species does not seem globally threatened. Some subpopulations may be threatened by mining activities: Plateau (SLN).
