in Northern ProvinceMedicosma diversifolia is an endemic shrub of New Caledonia. This species is insufficiently known. It is known of a single population in Moneo. It is found in shrubland on ultramafic substrate at an altitude of 250 m asl. This species has been only occasionally observed and the genus needs a taxonomic clarification. Therefore, M. diversifolia is assigned as Data Deficient (DD).
