Sarcochilus koghiensis is an endemic epiphyte orchid of New Caledonia, distributed in Grande Terre (main island) from Vallée de la Thy to Diahot. S. koghiensis occurs in dense humid forest at an altitudinal range 200-740 m asl. Due to its tiny size and the fact its is growing very high on tree, S. koghiensis does not seem threatened. S. koghiensis qualifies thus as Least Concern (LC).

S. koghiensis is an endemic epiphyte orchid of New Caledonia, distributed in Grande Terre (main island) from Vallée de la Thy to Diahot. Due to the difficulty to observe it, its distribution area might be larger than what is figured by actual observations.

There is no known detailed population information about S. koghiensis.

S. koghiensis occurs in dense humid forest at an altitudinal range 200-740 m asl.

There are no particular threats associated with this species.

Conservation


S. koghiensis is protected by legislation in Province Nord and Province Sud and occurs in three protected areas in Province Sud : Parc des Grandes Fougères, réserve naturelle de la Vallée de la Thy, Parc Provincial de la Rivière Bleue.
