in Southern Province , in Northern ProvinceAn endemic orchid of New Caledonia, Taeniophyllum graptolitum is distributed across Grande Terre from Mont Koghi to Oua Tilou. T. graptolitum is found on the edge of humid forest and in thalweg forest at an altitudinal range of 300-1,200 m asl. Its area of occupancy and extent of occurrence are respectively equal to 64 and 6,490 km². Owing to a number of locations slightly over 10 and the bushfire threat, T. graptolitum is considered Near Threatened close to Vulnerable B1ab(iii,v)+2ab(iii,v).

Population size is unknown.
Habitat
Taeniophyllum graptolitum is found on the edge of humid forest and in thalweg forest at an altitudinal range of 300-1,200 m asl.
Threats
Due to its habitat and distribution, Taeniophyllum graptolitum may be impacted by bushfires.
Conservation
Taeniophyllum graptolitum is protected by legislation in Province Sud and Province Nord and it does occur in 2 protected areas : Mont Mou et Rivière Bleue.
