Least Concern (LC) , assessed in 23/01/2015Plerandra moratiana is an endemic tree of New Caledonia widespread over the northern half of Grande Terre.With an extent of occurrence (EOO) of 4,955 km², a minimum area of occupancy (AOO) of 189 km², and 20 known subpopulations, some of which occur within a protected area (Nodela reserve), Plerandra moratiana is assigned a status of Least Concern (LC)

Population
Population size is unknown.
Habitat
It occurs in dense humid forest mostly on volcano-sedimentary substrate. It often occurs along river beds.
Threats
No specific threat has been observed on the species.
Conservation
It is not protected by local legislation. It occurs in the Nodela reserve.
