Gossia clusioides subsp. tiebaghiensis is an endemic shrub from New Caledonia. It is only known from Tiebaghi. It grows in low degraded maquis and forest in ultramafic substrates at an altitude range of 300-500 m asl. The main identified threats are linked to habitat damage by uncontrolled bushfires and mining activities on Tiebaghi massif. Its extent of occurrence (EOO) and area of occupancy (AOO) are both estimated to be of 8 km², respectively, while the number of locations are estimated to be two. This new species is therefore assessed as Endangered (EN) with criteria B1ab(ii,iii,v)+2ab (ii,iii,v) with a continuing decline of AOO, habitat quality and number of mature individuals.
