Data Deficient (DD) , assessed in 21/04/2017Cyclophyllum macphersonii is an endemic shrub of New Caledonia, restricted to Mont Colnett and Panié area and known from a single herbarium specimen. It would occurs in forest on volcano-sedimentary substrate at an altitudinal range of 800-1,000 m asl. This taxon is insufficiently collected and not well known. Cyclophyllum macphersonii is therefore assessed as Data Deficient (DD) for provenance reasons.

Population
Population size is unknown and field survey indicate sparse individuals with a low seed production.
Habitat
Cyclophyllum macphersonii would occurs in forest on volcano-sedimentary substrate at an altitudinal range of 800-1,000 m asl.
Threats
A decline would be observed and field survey report that fruits have been infested.
Conservation
Prospection are urgently needed to better evaluate the conservation status for this species.
