Data Deficient (DD) , assessed in 07/04/2017Utricularia novaezelandiae is an autochtonous carnivorous herb of New Caledonia, which under current taxonomic delimitation, is thought to be present in the south-east of Grante Terre. It would occur in wetlands at low altitude. This taxon is insufficiently collected and not well known. Utricularia novaezelandiae is therefore assessed in New Caledonia as Data Deficient (DD) for provenance and taxonomic reasons.
Geographical area
Utricularia novaezelandiae is an autochtonous carnivorous herb of New Caledonia, which under current taxonomic delimitation, is thought to be present in the south-east of Grante Terre (Prony). This species is also present in New Zealand.
Population
Population size is unknown.
Habitat
It would occur in wetlands at low altitude.

Threats are unknown.
Conservation
This species should be more collected and observations compared to the identification keys in order to confirm or infirm its presence in New Caledonia.
