Geographical range

"Gemmabryum dichotomum (Bryum dichotomum Hedw.) is a nearly cosmopolitan species with the nearest known records in Australia (e.g. Spence & Ramsay 2019). In New Caledonia the species was found on the man-made substrate around a much-visited mountain hut." (Thouvenot L. & Muller F. 2021).
