Description
Pileus: hemispherical becoming planoconvex to centrally depressed; 10 - 40 mm diameter; glabrous; glutinous; grass green to moss green, darker in centre pale at margin; margin striate.
Stipe: cylindrical; 25 - 70 × 2–5 mm; glabrous; glutinous; concolourous with pileus but paler.
Gills: adnate to decurrent; moderately distant;whitish green with a gelatinized gill edge.
Flesh: pale greenish.
Spore print: white.
Spores: ellipsoid; 4.5 –6 × 3 – 4 µm; smooth.
Notes: this species is recognized by its green colours and glutinous cap. It is distinguished from the similar coloured G. viridis by the gelatinised thread on the gill edge.
