Description
Pileus: convex becoming centrally depressed; 15 - 30 mm diameter; glabrous; glutinous; deep rose, darker at center; margin striate with alternating dark rose striae and pale background.
Stipe: cylindrical; 20 - 45 × 2–4 mm; glabrous; glutinous; lilac rose at apex, pale ochraceous at base.
Gills: decurrent; moderately distant; pale lilac rose.
Flesh:rose lilac.
Spore print: white.

Notes: this species might be Horak’s G. versicolor described from New Zealand but the spores were not examined so we cannot be sure. It is recognized by its rose cap colours, glutinous cap and much paler decurrent gills.
