Description

Pileus: convex becoming centrally depressed; 10 - 15 mm diameter; glabrous; glutinous; deep yellow, sulphur yellow; darker at center; margin sulcate striate with alternating dark yellow striae and pale background.

Stipe: cylindrical, sub-bulbous; 10 - 30 × 1–2 mm; glabrous; glutinous; whitish at apex, pale yellow at base.

Gills: deeply decurrent; moderately distant; yellow.

Flesh: yellow, waxy.

Spore print: white.

Spores: ellipsoid; 5.5 – 6 × 3 – 3.5 µm.

Notes: this species is recognized by small size, yellow cap colour, pale sub-bulbous stipe and deeply decurrent gills.
