Description
Pileus: convex becoming centrally depressed; 10 - 15 mm diameter; glabrous; glutinous; green to deep green, darker at center; margin striate.
Stipe: cylindrical; 15 - 50 × 2–3 mm; glabrous; glutinous; whitish at apex, pale yellow at base.
Gills: adnate to sub-decurrent; pale green fading to whitish; without glutinous thread.
Flesh: green in cap orange grey at base of stipe.
Spore print: white.
Spores: ellipsoid; 7 – 8 × 4 – 5 µm.
Notes: difficult to distinguish from G. graminicolor, but this species lacks a glutinous thread on the gills and has a yellowish base to the stipe.
