Pileus: convex, centrally depressed; 10 - 18 mm diameter; glabrous; shiny, scarlet red;  margin sulcate and inrolled.

Stipe: cylindrical to clavate; 40- 55 × 6–10 mm; glabrous; dry; shiny red in upper half gradually paler downwards with a white base.

Gills: arcuate decurrent; moderately crowded; white.

Flesh: not recorded.

Spore print: white.
