Description
Pileus: campanulate becoming conical;25 –50 mm diameter; squamose, floccose; white; margin scaly floccose.
Stipe: cylindrical to clavate; 50 –90× 5 –7 mm; glabrous at apex but floccose on clavate base;with a distinct floccose ring; white.
Gills: free; white.
Flesh: thin; yellow.
Spore print: white.
Spores: not observed.
Notes: this white is somewhat like the Northern hemisphere species L. cretaceous but there is too little data on the spores and other microscopic features for a determination to be made.
