Cap: campanulate; 2–4mm diameter; glabrous, radially rugulose; white; margin sulcate.

Stipe: cylindrical; 3 – 5 × 0.2–0.5 mm; glabrous; yellowish brown at base becoming paler upwards; insititious.

Gills: adnexed; lamellulae in one series; white.

Notes: this Marasmius is characterized by its small fruiting bodies with white caps and yellow brown stipe which grows on palm fronds. Needs further collections and to be checked in Desjardin & Horak.
