Cap: convex becoming applanate; 1–3 mm diameter; glabrous to subvelutinate; fawn to pale grey brown.

Stipe: cylindrical; 5 – 10 × 0.2–0.5 mm; pruinose; grey brown to dark brown.

Gills: adnate; fawn.

Flesh: thin, fawn.

Spore print: white.

Spores: ellipsoid; 7.5–8.5 × 2.5 - 3m; thin walled, inamyloid.

Notes: this Marasmius is characterized by its very small stature, fawn to grey brown cap and substrate on Araucaria leaves.
