Description

Cap: convex, sometimes with slight umbo;10 - 15 mm diameter;dry, radially grooved; pale greyish brown.

Stipe: cylindrical, usually caespitose; 15-25 × 2-3 mm; viscid, glutinous; hyaline white at the apex but usually pale yellowish brown at the base; insititious.

Gills: adnate to subdecurrent; subdistant; white; with lamellulae in two series.

Flesh: thin, white.

Spore print: white.

Spores: ellipsoid; 9.5-15.5 × 6-9µm; strongly amyloid.

Notes:this Mycena is characterized by its small pale greyish brown fruiting bodies with strongly glutinous stipes.
