Description

Cap: convex, sometimes slightly umbilicate;10 - 15 mm diameter; dry, radially grooved; dark to pale grey blue.

Stipe: cylindrical; 15-25 × 2-3 mm; glabrous; pale blue; attached to the substrate by a white pruinose disc on a blue base.

Gills: free; subdistant; white with a blue edge; with lamellulae in two series.

Flesh: thin, white.

Spore print: white.

Spores: ellipsoid; 8.5-11.5 ×6-9µm; strongly amyloid.

Notes: this Mycena is characterized by its blue fruiting bodies with a pruinose disc attaching them to the substrate.
