Description
Cap: convex; 8– 15mm diameter; sulcate; covered in short erect hyaline hairs; white; margin sulcate.
Stipe: cylindrical; 10 - 20 × 1 - 2 mm; pruinose; attached to the substrate by a basal disc.
Gills: free; close; white with an ochre edge; lamellulae in one series.
Flesh: thin, white.
Spore print: white.

Notes: this Mycena is characterized by its white cap with short hyaline hairs and a pruinose stipe with a basal disc. The hyaline hairs and coloured gill edge distinguish it from M. sp 3 and the shorter cap hairs and basal disc from M. sp 4.Microscopic and other details are needed to make a firm determination.
