Cap: convex, campanulate, 5-8 mm diameter; glabrous; pink; three-quarters striate; margin pale almost white.

Stipe:cylindrical, curved; 10 × 1 mm; glabrous to minutely floccose, pale orange yellow to pale vinaceous.

Notes: this Mycena is characterized by its pink cap and stipe and white gills. It is much less robust than M. sp 11 and does not have a coloured gill edge.Microscopic and other details will be needed to make a firm determination.
