Description
Cap: plano-convex to centrally depressed; 40-60 mm diameter; dry, minutely tomentose, pinkish orange, bruising orange brown; margin entire.
Stipe: cylindrical, distinctly tapering; 30 – 50 × 8 – 12 mm; floccose, punctate; white staining brown on bruising.
Gills: adnexed to subdecurrent; golden yellow; bruising green then slowly browning.

Spore print: honey brown.

Notes: this medium sized Phylloporus has a pinkish orange cap, golden yellow adnexed to subdecurrent gills and a white stipe. It exhibits weak green staining of the gills. More information is needed to reach a conclusion on whether this is a known or new species.
