Description

Cap: laterally attached, applanate; 10-50 mm diameter; smooth; moist; pale fawn to grey with a purple tint.

Stipe: cylindrical, often curved; 40 - 70 × 3–4 mm; velutinous; cream.

Gills: adnate; crowded; white.

Spore print: white.

Notes: this Pleurotopsis is very difficult to identify. It has had several names and been in at least four different genera. Very doubtful identification!
