Description

Cap: laterally attached, fan shaped, applanate; 10-70 mm diameter; glabrous to minutely velutinate, matt; dark violet to brownish violet; margin smooth.

Stipe: lateral, cylindrical; 5 - 15 × 5–10 mm; lilac grey with a mycelial tuft at point of attachment.

Gills: decurrent; white with a pale grey tone, gill edge darker grey than face.

Spore print: white.
