Description

Cap: applanate; 20-40 mm diameter; glabrous, rimose (splitting) to reveal white flesh below; brown; margin inrolled.

Stipe: cylindrical, clavate; 25 - 40 × 3–6 mm; glabrous; ochraceous brown.

Gills: free; moderately spaced; pink.

Spore print: pink.

Spores:

Notes: this collection is characterized by its brown applanate cap which is rimose, pink free gills and a glabrous ochraceous brown stipe. It shares the rimose character with P. similis from New Zealand, but is otherwise distinct and seems to be an undescribed species.
