Description
Fruiting body: ramariod, branched; 40 – 90 mm tall, 30 - 60 mm wide; branches spathulate, with blunt rounded ends; purplish brown purplish grey hymenium and white apices.
Stipe: cylindrical; 15 - 25 × 4 - 7 mm; glabrous; purplish brown.
Flesh: tough.
Spore print: purple brown.

Notes: the ramariod, much branched fruiting bodies with spathulate branches and purplish brown colours suggest this is a Thelephora. This collection has not been examined microscopically. It appears to be closest in form to T. ramariodes described in Corner's monograph.
