Pileus: convex with a more or less flattened top; 45 – 60 mm diameter; white, with brown patch at centre and brown squamules arranged in concentric rings.

Stipe: cylindrical white.

Gills: free.

Notes: A large Agaricus with squamules. It resembles Agaricus augustus from the Northern Hemisphere.
