Description

Pileus: applanate becoming centrally depressed; 40 -50 mm diameter; fibrillose, greyish buff; with pyramidal velar remnants that are buff with white tips; margin sulcate.

Stipe: cylindrical; 40 – 50  ×10 - 12 mm; glabrous, greyish buff; ring white, fugacious thin;basal bulb and volva with white velar crumbs.

Gills: adnexed; moderatelycrowded, white.

Spore print: white.

Notes:a medium sized buff Amanita, with pyramidal velar remains and a bulbous volva with crumb like white velar remnants.
