Fruiting body: semicircular; up to 80 mm diameter by 1 - 2 mm thick; broadly attached; hard rubbery; margin lobed.

Upper surface: concentrically ridged; tomentose;  ridges in contrasting colours, cream, pale olivaceous and reddish brown.

Lower surface (hymenium): with mostly radially arranged gelatinous ridges, some reticulate, meruloid; greyish white; opaque when held up to the light.

Spores: allantoid; 15 - 18 × 6 - 7 µm.

Notes: this species is characterised by the bracket like concentrically ridged fruiting bodies with a greyish white radially ridged or reticulate gelatinous lower surface.
