Description

Pileus: convex becoming applanate; 20- 45 mm diameter; dry; minutely squamulose; grey to fuliginous, paler towards margin which is distinctly striate.

Stipe: cylindrical; 30 - 45 × 4 - 6 mm; dry; coarsely fibrillose; bluish to pale blue grey..

Gills: adnexed; crowded; pale blue turning pinkish with age; edge fimbriate.

Flesh: blue green.

Smell: none.

Spore print: pink.

Spores: angular, 5 - 7 angled; 6 - 7 × 5 - 7 µm; smooth.  

Notes: this fungus is has a grey to blackish cap and a rather robust blueish stipe. It is only known from the type collection.
