Description
Pileus: convex becoming applanate; 30- 45 mm diameter; dry; minutely fibrillose; grey blue with a darker blue centre; margin distinctly striate.
Stipe: cylindrical to clavate; 30 - 45 × 4 - 6 mm; dry; coarsely fibrillose; bluish to pale blue grey.
Gills: adnexed; moderately distant; greyish sky blue turning pinkish with age.
Flesh: thin, blue grey.
Smell: none.
Spore print: pink.
Spores: angular; 6 - 7 sided; 8 × 10 µm; smooth.
Notes: this fungus is grey blue with a dark blue centre to the cap and a rather robust blueish stipe. It is quite robust for an Entoloma.
