Description
Pileus: hemispherical becoming convex, sometimes with a central depression; 10 – 30 mm diameter; velutinous with small squamules at centre; dry; brown to beige; margin with darker striations.
Stipe: cylindrical, sometimes with sub-bulbous base; 20 – 50 × 1 – 3 mm; pruinose grey brown above, white fistulose at base; dry.
Gills: adnexed to subdecurrent; whitish to pale grey brown, turning pink, with white fimbriate gill edge.
Flesh: brownish.
Spore print: pink.
Spores:angular, with 5 – 6 sides; 9 – 11 × 7 – 8.5 µm.
