Pileus: conical; 15 – 25 mm diameter;radially fibrillose; dry; brown turning pale silvery pink or pale grey pink; margin not striate.

Stipe: cylindrical; 20 – 40 × 1.5 – 2.5 mm; fibrillose;dry; often twisted; pale wax yellow.

Gills: adnexed toalmost free;crowded; pale wax yellow, turning pink.

Flesh: pale yellow in stipe.

Spore print: pink.                       

Spores:cuboid;7 × 9 µm.

Notes: not easily recognized in the field, requires comparison of microscopic characters. Only known from the type collection.
