Description

Pileus: secotoid, hemispherical, lobed; 8 – 25 mm diameter; glabrous; slightly viscid; very bright blue green.

Stipe: cylindrical; 2 –8× 0.5 –2 mm; glabrous to pruinose;white.

Hymenium:loculate; white.

Flesh: white.

Spore print: blackish?

Spores: ellipsoid; 10 – 12 × 6 –7.5 µm.

Notes: this fungus is mainly distinguished by its blue green secotoid cap, white stipe and much smaller spores than L.R. atrovirens. Recent sequencing studies have placed this species in  Agrocybe. Redhead & McNeill have declared the name invalid so we have reverted to Heim’s earlier generic name of Le Ratia.
