Pileus: conical to campanulate; 10 - 20 mm diameter; fibrillose; brown; margin incurved.  

Stipe: cylindrical; 20 - 35 × 3 – 6 mm; scurfy to squamulose; pale brown.

Gills: adnexed; moderately crowded; greyish brown; with lamellulae in one series.

Smell: not recorded.

Spore print: brown.

Spores: not recorded.

Notes: this Inocybe has a conical to campanulate cap and is rather smaller than Inocybe sp 2. Microscopic details needed.
