Stipe: cylindrical; 20 – 40 × 3 - 4 mm; dark chestnut with apale yellowish cream apex.

Gills: adnate; crowded;cream yellow.

Flesh: tough, cream.

Spore print: white.

Spores: ellipsoid; 11 - 15 × 3 - 5m; thin walled, inamyloid.

Notes : this Marasmius is characterized by its transparent cream cap with a yellow centre and a red brown to yellow stipe.
