Fruting body: hemispherical with a flattened base; 6 – 10 mm diameter; pubescent; cream to brown; with a peristome (round opening) at the apex. Exoperidium (outer surface) breaking away to reveal gleba and spore inside.
Stipe: cylindrical, narrowing towards the apex; 20 - 50 × 1 - 3 mm; pubescent to almost glabrous; reddish to yellowish brown..
