Description
Pileus: convex with anumbo; 45 – 50 mm diameter; white but reddening on bruising;with sepia patch at centre and brown radially arranged fibrils which are finer towards the margin.
Stipe: cylindrical; 45 – 50 × 8 – 10 mm; white; pendulous ring 60% up stipe.
Gills:free; crowded; pinkish brown.
Flesh: reddening on bruising and cutting.
Spore print: dark chocolate brown.
Notes: A medium sized Agaricus with reddening flesh that us probably section sanguinolenti.
Support
Growing in litter in mixed nativeforest.
